Everton new stadium: Fans react to Bramley Moore Dock plan
Everton have this week taken a step towards moving out of their historic home at Goodison Park and establishing a new £300m stadium on the city’s waterfront.
Following a meeting with Liverpool City Council on Thursday (March 23), the club are set to agree the principles of a finance model to support the construction of a ground at Bramley Moore Dock.
Here’s what the fans had to say:
@LewisOwens18 is confident the plans will fall through
@the_max_doom is eager for details
@bernieo63 wants to see a change in leadership
@rondeco12 is thinking of the season tickets
For @Kie_Davies23 it’s all about the trophy cabinet
@Abraham_Neil is something of a heritage boffin
It’s like Christmas Day for @oldaccounttom
@John_Reid_YT might be slightly jealous
@jp_mcfc gives the waterfront option the thumbs up
The plans have @SteveAsprey hyped
What do you think of Everton’s new stadium plan? Will they realise their dream of establishing a new home on the waterfront – or will the deal fall through? Let us know in the comments.
