West Derby Village to welcome new dining concept
West Derby Village is preparing to welcome an exciting new dining concept this spring.
Set to open its doors in April, 51 Mill Lane will offer a unique eating experience by serving up a sharing menu comprising a selection of small plates and tapas style dishes.
Alongside providing casual dining at its best, the postcode’s newest addition will also play host to a fully stocked bar showcasing a varied selection of cocktails, spirits and pale ales.
Managing Director at 51 Mill Lane Kate Dunn said: “As West Derby Village’s new kid on the block, 51 Mill Lane will be located just a stone’s throw away from our sister venue, Almond Restaurant & Bar. With the address as its namesake, our new eatery will combine a bar, kitchen and garden to allow for a casual dining experience with a vibrant atmosphere.
“From friends and families to couples alike, our small plates menu will revolve around the concept of sharing to allow a thoroughly modern yet laid-back dining experience with a difference – it’s certainly set to bring a breath of fresh air to North Liverpool’s culinary scene.“
Inspired by cuisines from across the globe, 51 Mill Lane follows the success of the award-winning Almond Restaurant & Bar, which is located in the heart of West Derby Village and has been serving local, authentic dishes since its establishment in 2009.
Kate added: “With avid foodies in mind, our talented kitchen team is working hard to devise an eclectic offering with worldwide influences throughout. To complement this, we will also pay homage to our roots by serving an assortment of nostalgic, quintessentially British favourites.
“Perfect for an after-dinner aperitif or ideal for those who want to join us for just a drink, our bar will offer a range of cocktails, spirits and pale ales. With the summer months fast approaching, we will also be installing an intimate garden area, whereby al fresco lovers can while away the evenings with fresh food and delicious drinks. While the good times are guaranteed, the same can’t be said about the sunshine!“
