JCT600 drives fundraising for The Prince’s Trust

A £1,000 donation from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation, the charity of rental car operator Enterprise-Rent-A-Car, has been accepted on behalf of The Prince’s Trust by patrons JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions in Bradford.

JCT600 made a four-year commitment to become a patron of the youth charity in 2016, and is mentoring young people across its network of 50 dealerships and its Bradford head office.

“We are very actively involved with mentoring for The Prince’s Trust, and when our rental partner Enterprise-Rent-A-Car heard about the work, they were keen to support the charity with a financial contribution. JCT600 and Enterprise are both very successful family run organisations with a passion to give back to our community and we welcome all support given to the charity,” said Rosslyn Hood of JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions.

The Prince’s Trust, which marked its 40th anniversary last year, believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed and helps 13 to 30 year olds who are unemployed or struggling at school, to transform their lives.

Rosie Battye, private sector fundraising manager for The Prince’s Trust in the North of England, said: “The Prince’s Trust is thrilled to receive £1,000 from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation and we are grateful to our patrons JCT600 for their support. The donation will help transform the lives of disadvantaged young people across Yorkshire and the Humber. The Prince’s Trust works both in the region and nationally to help young people get into work, training or education.”

As well as undertaking the four-year mentorship programme with The Prince’s Trust, JCT600 and JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions are also committed to providing work and training opportunities for young people. Over the last three years, the group has taken on more than 100 apprentices to join its 2,300-strong team. The company has also been listed in the Sunday Times ‘Best 100 Companies to Work For’, this year achieving the 57th position in recognition of its outstanding levels of employee engagement.
