TechMarketView launches programme to support UK tech SMEs
TechMarketView today revealed the launch of a new initiative to help accelerate growth amongst UK tech SMEs – the Great British Scaleup (GBS) programme. This programme is the follow-on to TechMarketView’s Little British Battler (LBB) programme, which over the past five years has brought more than 100 UK tech SMEs to the attention of the wider market. Many LBBs have been able to develop their businesses further, spurred on by the increased market visibility and kudos that participation in the LBB programme has brought them.
The TechMarketView GBS programme offers a unique opportunity for fast-growing UK tech SMEs to develop their potential by tapping into the knowledge and experience of TechMarketView’s market research specialists along with business advisors from ScaleUp Group, an elite team of successful tech entrepreneurs and seasoned executives.
“We are very excited about teaming up with ScaleUp Group to launch the GBS programme,” said TechMarketView Managing Partner, Anthony Miller. “With TechMarketView’s deep knowledge of the tech market, and ScaleUp Group’s experience in building successful tech companies, we feel sure that we will be able to help fast-growing UK tech SMEs truly become Great British Scaleups.”
“I am delighted that ScaleUp Group is the founding sponsor of the GBS programme,” said Scaleup Group’s Chairman, John O’Connell. “Together we plan to nurture and grow the next generation of global champions from the UK. I commend Anthony Miller and his colleagues for their foresight in creating this new initiative.”
The inaugural GBS event will be held at the end of June. CEOs of potential scale-up companies will be invited to meet with TechMarketView and ScaleUp Group to get valuable feedback and advice on their plans and aspirations for their business. “We fully expect some of these companies will be prime candidates to become Great British Scaleups, and they’ll have the opportunity to work further with ScaleUp Group to help prepare them for the funding they’ll need to get there,” Miller added.
Applications to participate in the Great British Scaleup programme can be submitted from today.
