Ricoh has relocated at Manor Park

New Birchwood Park base for $19.6bn-turnover tech firm

International technology company Ricoh is establishing a new base in the North West.

The firm, which has a global revenue of $19.6bn, snapped up 7,500 sq ft of office space at 305 Bridgewater Place, Birchwood Park.

Relocating from Manor Park in Runcorn, Ricoh said the move forms part of a commitment to attracting and retaining talent, with Birchwood Park’s business community and connectivity to the wider North West contributing to its decision.

Ricoh UK chief exec Phil Keoghan said: “Birchwood Park underlines Ricoh UK’s success in embracing digital transformation and helping our customers to do the same.

“The new office truly showcases how we have used technology to pioneer the workforce of the future.”

The firm’s Birchwood base features interactive whiteboards, unified communications and modern document workflow to accommodate flexible mobile working.

Martin O’Rourke, commercial director of Birchwood Park, commented: “The combination of flexible, high quality office space, landscaped surroundings and strong sense of community we have here offers a holistic approach that continues to attract businesses from near and far – especially those looking to attract and retain the best staff.

“As a business with the highest standards in working environments, we’re pleased to welcome Ricoh to Birchwood Park, and to see the impressive refurbishment it has carried out.”

He continued: “There is no doubt that Ricoh will make an excellent addition to our network of successful businesses, ranging from corporates to innovative start-ups, and I am confident the company will enjoy the many benefits of being a part of the Birchwood Park community.”

Birchwood Park is managed by property firm PATRIZIA UK.
