The Yorkshire Mafia launches new academy to support SMEs
A member of The Yorkshire Mafia (YM), Louise Pierre of Pierre Business Solutions, has launched The Yorkshire Mafia Academy.
The new academy is a peer support network offering guidance from other professionals across a range of sectors.
Covering everything from social media, google analytics, marketing, account management and blogging, The Yorkshire Mafia Academy will bring SMEs together to discuss a wide range of topics.
Through a series of gatherings, seminars and expert sessions, those attending will have the chance to ask more in depth questions to help to address the challenges that their businesses are facing.
In some instances, practical workshops will also be offered.
The first event, attended by upwards of 100 people, took place on 23rd March and focused on Top 10 social media tips for businesses.
Louise Pierre said: “From the start we knew there was a demand for The Yorkshire Mafia Academy. Although we were confident that it would be popular, the first event has exceeded all our expectations.
“We are so pleased to bring people together to address the challenges that we, as new businesses, face. So many of the questions that we have are similar or the same so it makes sense to come together to chat and work things through.”
The Yorkshire Mafia Academy will also be taking comments from people who are part of the LinkedIn Group to ensure that the subjects that are being covered are those that are most reflective of the needs of the business community.
As well as featuring in Leeds, events will take place across Yorkshire to allow as many SMEs and new business owners as possible to get involved.
