Work complete on £6m Bolton office development
Construction firm Robertson North West has completed work on a five-story property in the centre of Bolton.
The new £6m building, located next to the Bolton Interchange at the junction of Great Moor Street and Newport Street, is the latest to be delivered as part of the wider Bolton Central development and will serve as office accommodation.
Oldham-based Robertson North West started work on the scheme in November 2015.
Richard Buck, the company’s business development director, said: “The Bolton Central development has been a fantastic project for us to be involved in and we have worked tirelessly to ensure it is finished to an exceptional standard.
“The modern office accommodation will help to build on the great developments that are taking place in Bolton.”
He added: “This building will also support the council in meeting the growing demand from businesses for high quality office space in the town centre.”
The new office space is the latest in a string of recent developments in the town centre, following on from the £48m transport interchange, the Newport Street revamp and ongoing developments at the Market Place.
Robertson North West is part of the £450m infrastructure group Robertson.
