Yorkshire businesses named among Europe’s 1000 fastest growing companies

On Friday morning (April 7th), the Financial Times unveiled The FT1000 list of Europe’s fastest-growing businesses.

The table ranks Europe’s 1000 fastest growing companies, in terms of the highest percentage growth in revenues, between 2012 and 2015.

The results, which will feature in a Financial Times special report at the end of April, feature a number of companies based in Yorkshire.

Azzure IT - Sheffield-based software business, Azzure IT is one of the world’s top business software providers with a membership to the Microsoft President’s Club 2016.

The business services the whole of the UK, in developing, implementing and customising business software solutions delivered using Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Dynamics NAV and Office 365 applications. Azzure helps businesses improve efficiency and productivity in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, distribution and professional services.

Pimoroni - Sheffield-based IY electronics manufacturer and online retailer, Pimoroni designs, manufactures, and sells its own products. Founded in 2012 by Jon Williamson and Paul Beech, Pimoroni’s flagship product is a stackable, laser-cut case for the credit card-sized Raspberry Pi computer.

Specialist People Services Group - Bradford-based recruitment group, Specialist People Services comprises Driver Hire Nationwide and Driver Hire Australia, rail support services supplier ISS Labour, Driver Hire Training, and eServices, which offers online people management services.

Transline Group - Brighouse-based recruitment consultancy, Transline Group currently spans to more than 100 sites across the UK, as well as having operations in Ireland, Eastern Europe, Canada, Thailand and Dubai. Founded in 1989 by join CEOs Paul Beasley and Jon Taylor, the group provides management of temporary workforce and recruitment of permanent staff.

Navartis - Doncaster-based project recruitment specialist, Navartis provides technical and management professionals to the transportation, civil engineering and utility sectors. The company specialises in recruiting engineers, project managers, quantity surveyors and other professionals to work in field such as rail, aviation, water, energy and power.

WANdisco - With UK headquarters in Sheffield, WANdisco is a public software company which specialises in the area of distributed computing. As well as Sheffield, the company has development offices in San Ramon, California, and Belfast, Northern Ireland.

WANdisco’s technology allows companies to store and manage large quantities of online data.

EMIS Group - Leeds-based provider of connected healthcare software and services, EMIS Group specialises in the supply of ICT infrastructure, application software and value-added services.
