Decision due on ‘dramatic’ three-tower development in Liverpool
Developer Elliot Group’s plans for a nine-figure triple-tower development in Liverpool will go before the city council’s planning committee next week.
The Infinity scheme is promising to alter the city’s iconic skyline forever with the construction of three towers, of between 27 and 39 storeys, on the northern edge of the business district.
Elliot Group will seek approval for the Falconer Chester Hall-designed project, which will cost in the region of £250m, at a meeting on Tuesday (April 18).
The tallest of the three buildings will rise to 436 ft above sea level and boast views stretching all the way to Snowdonia and the mountains of the Lake District.
According to Elliot Group, the development would be the city’s largest single housing project, creating 1,002 apartments along with a spa, gym, pool and over 10,000 sq ft of commercial space.
Developer Elliot Lawless said: “We’ve spent months working closely with Liverpool council’s officers to craft a scheme that not only delivers in terms of regeneration, but will contribute dramatically to its changing skyline.
“We’re hoping the committee can see the quality of what we’re bringing forward and will back our commitment to the city.”
If approved, work on the scheme will begin this Autumn, for completion in Autumn 2019.
