East Yorkshire holiday leisure park acquired by Darwin Escapes

The KP Club, a golf, lodge and events resort in East Yorkshire, has been acquired by a North Wales-headquartered holiday park operator.

The KP has been bought by the Darwin Leisure Property Fund and will become part of the Fund’s Darwin Escapes portfolio of holiday parks.

Darwin Escapes is the fourth largest operator of holiday parks in the UK and The KP Club will be the 20th Darwin Escapes park.

The company’s parks offer a range of holiday styles including boutique lodge retreats, luxury resorts with state-of-the-art leisure facilities and more traditional, family-oriented holiday parks.

Situated near Pocklington, at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds, The KP Club is a boutique holiday lodge park with an 18-hole championship golf course over rolling parkland terrain.

The KP, which hosts weddings and is a popular conference venue, comprises 34 letting lodges, seven of which are hotel pods. There are also two restaurants on site - The Glasshouse and a first floor restaurant known as The Vale of York.

The KP Club has been sold by its private owners for an undisclosed sum.
