Newcastle’s Handbag Clinic launches at Harvey Nichols in Manchester
Newcastle-based handbag repair firm Handbag Clinic has expanded into the North West.
The company will now offer services ranging from cleaning and protection to repair and restoration at Harvey Nichols in Manchester.
Ben Staerck, the managing director of Handbag Clinic, said his company is “delighted” to be working with the department store.
He commented: “There is a real synergy between its customers and our clients.
“We’re experiencing huge demand for our services in our stores and we’re expecting interest to be high in Manchester too.”
The company said its technicians carry out work on bags from world’s “most prestigious” designers, with some items worth tens of thousands of pounds.
Ben added: “This will offer Harvey Nichols customers a complete, convenient and bespoke service from the moment they make a purchase with the opportunity to protect, maintain and repair their most loved accessories.”
Last summer, Handbag Clinic expanded into Leeds’ Queens Arcade shopping centre.
