Meadowhall Business Park set to welcome second construction firm

A construction project management and cost consultant company has reocated to Meadowhall Business Park, joining NG Bailey as anchor tenants.

Auburn Ainsley Limited has moved from Rotherham to take 2,215 sq ft on the second floor of block three at ARBA Group’s multi-million pound refurbishment project, located at Meadowhall’s commercial centre.

Auburn Ainsley works with the National Health Service and other healthcare providers (including GP’s), as well as local authorities, housing associations, educational establishments, property developers Prison Service, banking institutions, licensed premises, sporting facilities and commercial clients.

Andy Wigfield, one of the directors at Auburn Ainsley, said: “We have taken a lease on new headquarters at Meadowhall Business Park as a strategic move to ensure we are well positioned to meet future business challenges.

“The location of our new headquarters is perfect for our needs and allows for easy motorway access, which is important as we cover a wide geographic area.”

The 70,000 sq ft park, located adjacent to Meadowhall Shopping Centre, is being marketed by Knight Frank and Campbell & Co.

The site offers five, low-level, modern office blocks which are being upgraded to a specification fit-out.

Richard Burns, director at ARBA Group, added: “Meadowhall Business Park was a speculative refurbishment project for us, but we knew that Meadowhall was advancing as a commercial district in its own right.

“We are seeing an extraordinary level of interest in the offices as businesses look for space which offers the best in terms of value and location. Auburn Ainsley is a well known South Yorkshire business and the site offers exactly what they require.”

The park is located less than one mile from junction 34 of the M1, two miles west of Junction 33 of the M1 and within six and twenty-five miles of the M1/M18 intersection and the M1/M62 intersection.

Developments at Meadowhall include the construction of a new 370,000 sq ft IKEA superstore - due to open end of summer 2017, the £300m expansion of Meadowhall Shopping Centre and the completion of new supercar showrooms for Porsche and Mercedez Benz.

With Block three now completed, each block is undergoing full refurbishment to modern office standards. The suites, can accommodate requirements from 2,000 sq ft to 15,000 sq ft and are complemented with on-site car parking.
