MEATLiquor bowls into Bayswater after unveiling new partnership at historic leisure venue
London and Brighton street food stalwart and burgeoning burger brand MEATLiquor has announced a new collaboration with a west London leisure destination that will see it open its twelfth venue.
The eatery is putting the finishing touches on its new restaurant and bar at the historic Queensway leisure venue, Queens: Skate, Dine and Bowl, which has recently undergone a massive refurbishment and rebuild.
Spread over 45,000 sq ft, the venue reopened following a 9 month refurbishment last year boasting a revamped ice rink, 12 lane bowling alley and retro arcade games for leisure-seeking Londoners.
Now the historic leisure venue, which has operated on the site since the 1930s, has signed up MEATLiquor as its exclusive food and drinks partner, with the brand opening its 200-capacity bar and 80-cover diner on Friday 5 May.
Coming hot off the heels of their imminent Kings Cross opening, the eatery now has venues across London, with further sites in Leeds, Brighton and Bristol.
The interior for their new Queens site has been designed by Shed Design Ltd, the company which is also designed their former tramshed site in Kings Cross, and will feature traditional bar entertainment including a pool table, dartboard and table football.
Ahead of the new opening, MEATLiquor Co-Founder, Scott Collins, commented: “The ethos of MEATliquor is one built on offering a destination for people who want to go out but without growing up – something QUEENS completely epitomises.
“We hope that by bringing the MEATliquor approach to QUEENS we can provide a one- stop fun shop, something for everyone and all ages”.
Queens owner, Ben Bourne, added: “We are so excited about this collaboration - QUEENS is very proud to be partnering with MEATLiquor.
“Yianni and Scott are pioneers of the street food movement! MEATLiquor’s playfulness completes the unique experiences, from bowling with retro arcade games to ice skating, that we pride ourselves with.”
