Porsche revs into Liverpool ONE with immersive Peter’s Lane pop-up

German automaker Porsche has opened a pop-up store at Liverpool ONE.

Housed within a 3,000 sq ft unit on Peter’s Lane, the shop features interactive gesture control screens designed to immerse visitors in the Porsche brand.

The space also includes a ‘Sound of Porsche’ installation to boost the pop-up’s immersive element, as well as offering insights into the brand’s 911 coupe and the 919 Hybrid LMP1 racing car.

Porsche said the store also hints at the firm’s future with the Mission E car, its first all-electrically powered four-seater.

Porsche models on display at Liverpool ONE include the new 911 GTS and the Macan S Diesel SUV.

With no on-site sales process, the pop-up is meant to act as an urban meeting point for Porsche enthusiasts while offering a chance for people to experience the brand.

Porsche GB’s general manager for marketing, Ragnar Schulte, said: “Liverpool ONE is a great location and we are delighted to have opened Porsche Life on Peter’s Lane.

“The pop-up experience offers every visitor the opportunity to explore first-hand the stories and legends that underpin the Porsche brand.”

Alison Clegg of Grosvenor Europe, which owns Liverpool ONE, commented: “Porsche’s selection of Peter’s Lane for Porsche Life highlights Liverpool ONE’s cachet amongst some of the most highly regarded premium brands in the world.

“This exciting concept provides an experience that, whilst quite different to anything else in our retail and leisure lineup, is complementary to the critical mass of aspirational brands on Peter’s Lane.”

Nick Tandy, who won the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in 2015, will be at the pop-up to support various activities on selected dates.

The store will be open until June 4.
