Family-run Campbells Caravans invests £100k in new Blackburn showroom
Campbells Caravans is opening a new showroom in Lancashire following a six-figure investment.
The family-run business spent £100k on its new Blackburn site, increasing its stock capacity and boosting geographical reach.
The project included renovating the property’s offices, shop and showroom and extending the existing buildings on the Croft Head Road site.
Campbells Caravans’ new showroom includes an awning department on the building’s mezzanine floor and a shop stocking glassware, crockery, doormats, jacks and other caravanning lifestyle equipment.
The site also has a dispatch centre, enabling all caravans to be fully tested as they leave the forecourt and educating new owners on the operation and maintenance of their purchase.
Daniel Campbell, director of Campbells Caravans, said: “We’re excited about the launch of our new showroom, following our investment into the site.
People travel far and wide to find the perfect caravan or motorhome – having a showroom in Blackburn will allow us to broaden our scope in the new and used caravan sector, enabling us to help our customers find the right vehicle to suit their needs and lifestyle.“
He continued: “As our family business spans almost five decades, we felt it was only appropriate to celebrate the launch of our new showroom with a family fun weekend, for all to come and see our new facility and what we have on offer.”
The Blackburn site, which employs a team of 25, will launch on Saturday April 29 with a weekend-long BBQ and family event.
