Work begins on second phase of £500m iPort logistics scheme in Doncaster

Work is now underway on the second phase of Verdion’s £500m iPort logistics development, which is located just on the outskirts of Doncaster.

The real estate investor and developer is set to add a further 3 million sq ft of space within the second phase of the 6 million sq ft intermodal logistics park.

The first phase of iPort has already seen 2.34 million sq ft of space let to Amazon, Fellowes, CEVA and Lidl.

iPort offers both speculatively built units as well as design and build space ranging from 50,000 sq ft to 1 million sq ft and includes a 35-acre high specification rail freight facility, providing services with continental gauge clearance to all major UK ports and the Channel Tunnel.

The site is linked to Junction 3 of the M18 via the Great Yorkshire Way, which was constructed to enable the development of the site.
