Cheshire-based I Want Plants to deliver green displays across 57 Bruntwood offices

Family-run horticulture display company I Want Plants has signed a two-year deal with office giant Bruntwood.

The agreement will see the Cheshire company supply and maintain plants and green areas across 57 of the property firm’s UK-wide shared office network.

Just recently, I Want Plants completed the open-air roof terrace for Bruntwood’s £8m Neo redevelopment in the centre of Manchester.

The Hale-based company also created an indoor treehouse in the Bruntwood office at 127 Portland Street.

I Want Plants’ managing director, Richard Rowlands, said: “As an independent family-run business, we are delighted to be working with Bruntwood – another family-run business.

“Bruntwood are renowned for leading the way in office space and understand the importance plants and greenery bring to the workplace – helping to boost productivity and creativity.”

He added: “We are looking forward to working alongside the team at Bruntwood to deliver some exceptional plant displays throughout their portfolio.”

The firm’s other projects in Manchester include supplying Living Venture’s newest restaurant, Grand Pacific, with two banana trees and nine palm trees in custom-made charred planters.

I Want Plants is the business’ commercial branch. Its residential brand, I Want Trees, offers instant gardens, mature trees and privacy hedges.

Richard runs both businesses from the firm’s HQ, located within a medieval barn on the border between Hale and Ashley in Cheshire.
