Caddick Construction set to deliver new Hyundai Motor dealership in Leeds
Caddick Construction has secured a contract to deliver a new Hyundai Motor dealership in Leeds.
The Knottingley-based construction firm was appointed to the project by Pendragon Property Holdings.
The construction team began work in March and is scheduled to be completed in late 2017.
The new car showroom will be located on Gelderd Road, close to the recently completed Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Leeds and BMW/MINI centres, which were also built by Caddick for Pendragon Property Holdings.
The brand new 12,249 sq ft dealership will house a showroom, reception area, office space and workshop designed to exact specifications including Hyundai’s flagship rainscreen cladding system.
External works will include providing hard surfacing to external parking and compound storage areas and associated drainage works.
Andrew Murray, managing director at Caddick Construction, commented: “Our automotive portfolio continues to thrive and we’re pleased to bolster it with another contract from one of the UK’s leading automotive retailers, Pendragon.”
Caddick Construction and Caddick Civil Engineering are the operational arms of Caddick Group PLC, which employs almost 500 people and has a turnover of £90m.
