Knight Frank appointed to market 1.3 million sq ft Humber Enterprise Park

The Humber Enterprise Park in Brough, which was officially launched late last month, has appointed the Leeds office of property consultancy Knight Frank as letting agents.

The enterprise park, which is being developed by LC Industrial, a joint venture between LRE Capital and Leeds-based business specialist Citivale, incorporates 1.3 million sq ft of office and industrial space and 20 acres of development land.

The site benefits from Enterprise Zone and Assisted Area Status, which offers incentives to attract new occupiers.

To date, £6m has been spent on regenerating the whole site, with another £1.2m earmarked for further improvements.

It is estimated that 1,600 new and sustainable jobs will be created when the park is fully developed during the next three years.

Elizabeth Ridler, partner and office agency specialist with Knight Frank in Leeds, said: “This is a tremendous instruction for us. The Humber Enterprise Park is one of the most exciting developments in the region and we will be marketing the park’s state-of-the-art offices.

“We look forward to helping LC Industrial creating a new thriving business community with breath-taking views on the banks of the Humber. The refurbished offices look fantastic and are excellent value compared with Hull city centre. Taking into account the transport links to the park, and the facilities on site, this is an unrivalled office location in the region.”

James Appleton-Metcalfe, managing director of Citivale, also commented: “We are delighted to welcome Knight Frank on board. Their office agency team in Leeds has a splendid reputation and we look forward to benefiting from their knowledge and expertise.

“Already our competitive rents and unrivalled working environment are proving attractive to a whole raft of different occupiers. For example, a company moving here and taking 5,000 sq ft of space, would save over £500k over a five-year period compared with other office developments in the area.

“The attraction of the park’s Enterprise Zone status with no business rates also means that occupiers can channel their savings into costs into investment. The site is also impressive from a visitor’s point of view and occupiers have already received very positive feedback from their clients, suppliers and customers.”

James Appleton-Metcalfe added: “LRE Capital and ourselves are keenly aware that our park should not just be a place to work, but also a proper community where to life can be enjoyed.

“So we are creating a running track on the perimeter of the site; a heritage museum, paying tribute to the rich history of aircraft manufacturing here; green spaces and allotments; break-out areas and spaces for art; and a fitness suite.”
