Sizzling style for Spring Summer 17
The hottest new season trends will be showcased in style at intu Metrocentre’s free fashion shows this week.
From Thursday 27 – Sunday 30 April models will be taking to the runway in Town Square, near House of Fraser, in an array of must-have outfits from stores across the centre including brands from House of Fraser and Tessuti as well as Phase Eight, Coast, Topman and Dorothy Perkins.
The fashion shows, hosted by BBC Newcastle’s Anna Foster, will feature key looks for SS17 - from statement sleeves and slogan tees for the ladies, to camouflage, pastels and loose-fit suits for men. Mini fashionistas will not be forgotten as the latest childrenswear ranges from Cath Kidston will take centre stage with the centre’s new Heads of Fun at 1pm on Saturday 29 April.
With style inspiration at the forefront of the shows - shoppers will certainly leave with a spring in their step, embracing the latest trends in fashion, footwear and accessories. The inspiration continues even when the models have left the runway, with digital screens displaying more of the new season’s hottest pieces.
In addition, many retailers will be running special offers for the duration of the fashion extravaganza, including 20% off at Ecco, Warehouse and Boux Avenue, making this the perfect opportunity for shoppers to revamp and refresh their summer wardrobes with a few select items.
Helen Atkinson, marketing manager at intu Metrocentre, said:
“The arrival of our new season’s styles is always an exciting time at intu Metrocentre and our retailers are passionate about delivering the very latest looks guaranteed to keep wardrobes on trend.
“Whether fashion-forward shoppers are on the lookout for chic formalwear and timeless essentials from luxury brands in Platinum Mall, indulging in statement pieces from high street favourites like Topshop and River Island, or taking advantage of the host of exclusive discounts to bag a bargain – intu Metrocentre has everything they need to hone their own individual style this SS17.”
