Agents appointed to market 'nationally significant' 70-acre industrial site in Leeds
Marketing agencies have now been appointed to a 70-acre industrial site just off J27 of the M62, which is ready for immediate development with units up to 640,000 sq ft.
Marshall, the privately owned developer and contractor specialising in the commercial development sector, has appointed the industrial agency teams at CBRE and Carter Towler to market the 62 Leeds site.
62 Leeds lies minutes from the M62 motorway, which feeds directly into the M1. Leeds City Centre is only 4 miles to the north east. The site is also accessed from Gelderd Road (A62), one of the main routes into Leeds.
Ready for development, the 62 Leeds site has funding and infrastructure in place, giving occupiers the opportunity to purchase or lease industrial and warehouse space which can be constructed to their own specification.
There are both leasehold and freehold build to suit packages available.
Marshall specialises in the industrial, warehouse and logistics sector and has recently completed the development of units in West Yorkshire for Poundworld Retail Ltd (525,000 sq ft) and Vision Alert (100,000 sq ft).
Mike Baugh, CBRE’s senior director of Industrial Agency, commented: “62 Leeds represents a nationally significant industrial/warehouse opportunity for occupiers to acquire high quality units of up to 640,000 sq ft.
“We’re delighted to be working with Marshall, one of the leading industrial developers in the North of England, whose team bring a wealth of experience, expertise and an unrivalled track record for delivery.”
Ian Greenwood, director of Carter Towler, added: “Given the scale and excellent location of 62 Leeds we anticipate strong demand from local, regional and national occupiers.”
