New adults-only lounge at Manchester Airport offers passengers a ‘slice of luxury’
Manchester Airport has officially opened its new adults-only 1903 lounge.
The space, named after the year of the Wright Brothers’ first flight, boasts its own chefs and provides sweeping views of the adjacent airfield.
Located in Terminal 3, the 1903 lounge has space for up to 71 people and offers an all-inclusive menu featuring real dairy ice cream created by Cheshire Farm.
Also available is the 1833 vintage reserve cheddar from Barbers, one of the world’s oldest cheesemakers.
The lounge’s drinks menu features a number of locally produced beverages, including Manchester Pale Ale and Manchester Gin.
The opening comes as Manchester Airport looks to give passengers a more premium experience as they wait for their flights.
The executive vice president of business development and lounges at Manchester Airports Group, Beth Brewster, said: “We’re delighted to launch our flagship 1903 lounge in Terminal 3.
“The final product looks superb and offers passengers a real slice of luxury before their flight.”
