Bulldogs on winning form with new kit sponsor
Leading flexible business space provider, BizSpace, is the proud new kit sponsor for East Hull Bulldogs rugby team.
And to mark the occasion, the under-5s team, which is the local club to BizSpace’s Chamberlain Business Centre, Chamberlain Road, Hull, received a special visit from Hull FC coach Lee Radford, who brought along the League Cup, won by the team last year.
Business centre manager, Hayley Pollard, said all the BizSpace team were really excited to be involved with the club.
“We like to do our bit for the local community and when we heard about the East Hull Bulldogs we thought it would be perfect to help support youngsters wanting to get involved with sport,” she said.
“It was absolutely fantastic to have Lee along to the kit launch. I think I was more excited than the kids! All the youngsters look brilliant in their new kits and we’ll be supporting them all through the season.”
Ray Butler is club president and set up the club more than 40 years ago. He has coached youngsters at various ages for 30 years.
“We rely on donations to keep the club going, and without companies such as BizSpace we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. We really appreciate their support,” he said.
“The kids have been so excited to meet Lee and see the cup, and they are so proud to get a shirt. It’s really lovely for them.”
The youngsters are taught the basics of rugby and can progress through the other 10 teams as they grow older and gain more experience.
