Latest Liverpool FC deal brings new club partner on board
Liverpool FC have extended their commercial relationship with MBNA.
The Chester-based credit card firm, which has worked alongside the club for almost two decades, has now become an official UK partner.
Billy Hogan, LFC’s managing director and chief commercial officer, welcomed the deal.
He said: “We have enjoyed a long-standing relationship with MBNA over the last 19 years and are delighted to extend that partnership into its third decade.
“We are also thrilled to be broadening the relationship and welcome them as an Official Partner; it is fantastic to partner with a brand that is located in the North West of England and has a deep-rooted sporting heritage.”
MBNA strategy and innovation executive James Poole said the expanded partnership will offer a host of benefits for fans.
He commented: “We’re using our special connection with Liverpool FC and its legendary supporter base to provide a valuable programme of benefits that make good stuff happen for the real fans of the game.”
