Thomas Cook sees new summer programme take off from Leeds Bradford Airport

Tour operator Thomas Cook has launched its Summer 2017 holiday programme from Leeds Bradford Airport.

Services to Naples, Larnaca, Alicante, Menorca, Faro, Majorca and Tenerife begin this week and will operate through to October on flights operated by Monarch. On May 2nd, the tour operator launched its first departures to Faro, Majorca and Tenerife.

A range of holidays in the seven destinations include a number of Thomas Cook’s range of own brand hotels – Sunwing Family Resorts, Sunprime hotels for adults, and SENTIDO Hotels & Resorts.

Thomas Cook holidays are already on sale for Summer 2018, including the introduction of Dalaman in Turkey as a new choice for holidaymakers travelling from Leeds Bradford Airport.

Chris Mottershead, managing director at Thomas Cook UK, said: “We are thrilled to once again be offering our customers in the Leeds Bradford area the ease of flying from their local airport.

“We have a great range of quality holidays on offer in some of the most popular holiday hotspots, and look forward to making sure our customers have a holiday to remember.”

Tony Hallwood, aviation development director at LBA, added: “We are so pleased to see the reintroduction of Thomas Cook departures from LBA, especially as they are launching such a wide range of holiday packages which will be perfect for families and couples alike.

“This is a fantastic start to Summer 17 and we are sure the programme will be a huge success. It’s also brilliant to see Summer 2018 holidays go on sale, providing yet more choice for our passengers.”
