Vehicle rental company Transflex creates 10 jobs at new Stockton HQ
Transflex, the North East commercial vehicle rental firm, has relocated to a new HQ after unlocking turnover growth and expanding its client base.
The Stockton-headquartered business invested a six-figure sum in the launch of its new base at North Tees Industrial Estate, creating 10 jobs.
The 2.5-acre site includes larger office space, a rental desk, a used vehicle sales office and a large parking area.
Founded in 2012 by Peter Abdale and Steve Smith, today Transflex operates across three UK branches and is on track for a turnover growth of more than 20%.
The company has forecast sales to hit £20m this year, up from £16.1m in 2016.
Transflex said it is now planning to expand across the UK with additional customer facilities. Its newest branch, in Bristol, is currently under construction and due to open in May 2017.
Managing director Peter Abdale said: “We’re delighted to open our new Stockton headquarters and vehicle hire facility. This latest milestone is more great news following a very successful year, as we see our turnover grow and we expand our customer base.
“Since we launched back in 2012, we’ve continued to go from strength-to-strength.”
He added: “We’re incredibly proud of our hard working staff, who consistently deliver an excellent service to our loyal customers who are looking for flexible vehicle hire or to purchase used vehicles.”
