H&M has opened its largest store in Stratford
Fashion brand H&M has opened its newest store in Westfield Stratford City today (Friday 5 May) making it the largest UK store in the global retailer’s portfolio.
Coming in at over 5,070 sq ft spread over multiple floors, the new outlet is also one of H&M’s biggest anywhere in the world and will stock the brand’s usual range of ladieswear, menswear, Divided and kids ranges across three storeys.
To celebrate the opening of its latest global flagship store, the brand put on a programme of opening events and offers, including an urban dance crew and beatbox performers, along with special introductory offers and goodie bags.
H&M’s Country Manager for UK & IE, Carlos Duarte commented: “H&M are delighted to be expanding in Westfield Stratford City. The new store is not only the largest in the UK & IE, it is also one of H&M’s largest Global Flagships. This gives us an exciting opportunity to showcase our entire fashion offering to both new and existing customers.”
Since opening its first UK store in 1976, the Swedish brand has now grown to encompass over 260 stores across the UK and Ireland.
