Omega North fully occupied following new deal with Haydock Commercial Vehicles
A new has been struck to see the development of a new 35,000 sq ft. Scania Maintenance facility at Omega North in Warrington.
Omega Warrington Ltd (OWL) completed the deal with Haydock Commercial Vehicles Ltd, one of the largest commercial vehicle service providers in North West England and North Wales.
This new deal marks the delivery of 4.2million sq ft of occupied logistics and manufacturing space across the whole of Omega after only four years.
With Haydock Commercial on board, Omega North, home to Brakes, Hermes and Travis Perkins, is now fully let.
A further 1.5million sq ft of logistics and manufacturing space remains at neighbouring Omega South alongside names such as The Hut Group, ASDA and Amazon, which will occupy 356,000 sq ft of logistics space, following a speculative development by LondonMetric Property plc last year.
Andrew Sutherland, managing director of Omega Warrington Ltd (OWL), commented: “After the success of Omega North, we will continue to build on the scheme’s success as a magnet for investment in the North West.
“We are now focusing on securing the next occupier and investment for Omega South, and we hope to be able to make further announcements imminently.”
Haydock Commercial Vehicles’ site received a Reserved Matters planning permission for the new facility in November 2016 and work started on site on 3rd April 2017.
JLL and GVA acted for Omega Warrington Ltd and Haydock Commercial Vehicles Ltd were advised by Birtwistle Property Consultants and Kenney Moore.
