The Right Fuelcard Company fuels scouts’ camping trip

The Right Fuelcard Company (TRFC) – an independent distributor of Shell, Keyfuels, UK Fuels and Esso fuel cards – has accelerated the success of a local scout group’s first ever camping trip to Snowdonia.

The award-winning business has fuelled a minibus for Wetherby-based Church Fenton scouts with the newly launched prepaid RightPay fuel card – giving a seven-strong group of scouts and three scout leaders £300 worth of diesel for their adventure.

TRFC business director, Adam Walsh, said: “We wholly support the idea of encouraging young people to embark on informative and enjoyable outdoor activities and were very happy to help out.”

Scout leader, Sally Tindall, commented: “We can’t thank The Right Fuelcard Company enough for making our limited budget stretch a lot further. The fuel card was easy and convenient to use as the price was fixed wherever we went. It was easy to find stations which accepted the card thanks to the handy site locator available on the RightPay website. The scouts had a great time and came back buzzing with what they had seen and done.”

TRFC, which was ranked 33rd in the Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies to Work For in 2016, is a champion of giving back to its local communities.

Raising almost £3,300 since 2013 for Leeds Children’s Charity, last month a group of TRFC employees helped to improve a community centre garden run by Leeds charity OPAL, which supports older people to live happy, healthy, informed lives in their own homes.

The business encourages staff to work with good causes, with all employees given a working day off each calendar year to provide practical help or raise funds.
