JCT600 ranked in 'Best Car Dealers 2017' survey

Leading Northern car retailer JCT600 has been recognised in the Auto Express Driver Power ‘Best Car Dealers 2017’ with nine of its dealerships in Yorkshire achieving a ranking out of more than 16,000 dealers throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The survey carried out by Auto Express, Driver Power and data analyst Statista, polled customers and peer-to-peer recommendations to identify the top 1,000 dealerships in terms of quality of advice and information, price, offer and overall satisfaction in order to create a customer rating score for each dealership.

In Sheffield, JCT600’s Audi, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz dealerships were ranked in the top 1,000 as were Leeds, Porsche Centre, Lotus and Mazda. JCT600’s Mercedes-Benz Harrogate, Audi Hull and Volkswagen Wakefield also made it into the survey of the best places from which to buy a new or used car.

“As a business, our aim to be ‘the best place to shop’ is one of our core values and underpins much of what we do, focussing on making the customer ‘journey’ with us as easy and pleasant as possible. We are, therefore, particularly pleased that so many of our dealerships have been recognised in this new and prestigious survey,” comments John Tordoff, chief executive of Bradford-based JCT600. “With outlets being rated on their relative levels of service, costs and reliability, for nine of our dealerships to be ranked, with most of them achieving a customer rating score of above 8, is quite an achievement.”

Brian Walters, research and insight director at Driver Power, said: “Consumers want to know more than just the best new and used cars to own, they want to know the best dealers in their area to buy and service them.

“With over 16,000 new and used car dealers in the UK and Republic of Ireland, identifying the top dealers was no small task! We’re delighted to have worked with Statista to collate the Best Car Dealers 2017 list for the first time – we hope the database search function will prove invaluable to car-buyers.”

With its head office in Bradford, the JCT600 group is a family business with 50 dealerships selling 18 of the world’s most respected brands such as Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW/MINI, Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Vauxhall and Volkswagen. The group now employs a workforce of 2,300 people.
