Birkenhead’s Flynn Refrigeration inks China export deal
Refrigeration and air-conditioning company Flynn Refrigeration has put pen to paper on a new trade deal that will see it expand into South East Asia.
The Birkenhead firm signed an agreement with marine services business Fair Sky (China) Co Ltd to give the Shanghai-based venture access to its complete product range.
Further, Fair Sky will serve as a representative for Flynn Refrigeration across China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The partnership, which also will give Flynn Refrigeration opportunities to secure new business across Asia, builds on a supply deal inked two years ago.
Alex Flynn, the managing director of Flynn Refrigeration, said the new deal will provide his company with a solid footing for future expansion in the Asian marketplace.
He said: “The signing of this latest deal with Fair Sky signals our intention to expand Flynn Refrigeration’s overseas presence by building a global network of partners who share our desire to provide the highest standard of products and services.
“They’ll act as a service provider for our spare parts, sales, installation, servicing and maintenance offer, providing customers with a highly skilled and accessible point of contact within the region.”
He continued: “We already have an established base of customers in China and have been successfully supplying Fair Sky for the last two years. However, having a partner on the ground will strengthen our position, allowing us to build on relationships with existing customers and open doors to new opportunities.”
Flynn Refrigeration has over 30 years’ experience in supplying, installing, maintaining and converting refrigeration and air-conditioning systems and parts.
Fair Sky designs, supplies, installs and commissions air-conditioning, heating and ventilation systems.
