Strategic Analytics Team celebrates first year of business
Manchester-based logistics management company, Strategic Analytics Team (SAT), is celebrating its first year in business.
In its first year of trading, the business has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards; formed a partnership with Australian technology company JESI Management Solutions, which sees SAT supplying JESI journey management software to companies across the UK and Europe; launched the world’s first IVV Diamond-accredited defensive driver education programme specifically for electric vehicles; and been appointed as a supplier of training to oil giant Shell in Qatar.
The company has also created jobs at its Head Office in Manchester and all over the world through its network of driver trainers. SAT now boasts a pool of 112 specialist driver trainers based all over the globe, including the UK, France, Iran, India, Pakistan, Australia, United Arab Emirates and Libya. Between them the trainers speak 11 different languages including English, German, French, Urdu, Punjabi, Afrikaans, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Gujarati and Persian. It is through this network of specialists that SAT can provide driver education courses all over the world.
Paul Jorgensen decided to set up SAT after spending more than 20 years in the logistics industry working for high profile companies such as Shell and DHL, many of these focusing on health and safety and in challenging and remote locations such as Iraq and the Middle East.
He said: “I wanted to take my experiences and create a company that could provide solutions to businesses who have to transport products and people from A to B. Road safety and the protection of drivers and assets is at the forefront of SAT’s business model. We offer driver education programs and technology solutions that can aid and optimise the integration of supply and demand into vehicle use.
“We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved over the last year and are currently working with a few strategic partners to bring even more exciting products and services to a wider audience over the coming months.”
Frank Ring, Senior Partner at SAT, added: “What a year it has been! We are grateful for the support we have received from our staff, business partners and other members of the wider business community. We have seen phenomenal growth during our first year of trading and want to continue this into the next 12 months and beyond.”
