Zenith goes green with new Kirkstall Forge headquarters

Zenith Vehicle Contracts has unveiled plans for its new low carbon headquarters at the Kirkstall Forge site in Leeds.

The new 45,000 sq ft offices, which have solar panels are also installed on the roof, are designed to a BREEAM excellent rating and is working toward a low or zero carbon rating.

The new space is over the top three floors of the development and includes roof level meeting rooms, as well as running and cycle routes to help employees stay fit and encourage more car-free journeys.

Zenith, the independent leasing, fleet management and vehicle outsourcing business, signed on to occupy a new flagship headquarter office building at Kirkstall Forge in March 2016.

CEG, the developer of Kirkstall Forge, is also set to relocate its northern office to the new development.

CEG is delivering the 57-acre Kirkstall Forge scheme, which is set to become home to a mixed-use community in a wooded, riverside setting.

Ultimately, the scheme will comprise of 1,050 new homes, 300,000 sq ft of offices and 100,000 sq ft of retail, leisure and community space.
