Manageable Undergraduates startup are set to bloom
A group of six students who are passionate about the concept of sustainability have beaten tough battle from 200 undergraduates known as best overall business at the young enterprise north east regional start up finals.
The students engaged in young enterprise scheme, which motivated young minds to initiate their own startups and new businesses all over the world.
Being the part of the regional finals held at the northern design center, the third-year understudies were met by a board of judges including delegates from Tait Walker, Durham Business Group, Serco and SME Cal Partners, before exhibiting their business thoughts to the board.
Their urban places which offer very little opportunities for city dwellers, to start their own venture, took three awards in total- best overall business, best proposal and best trade stall.
Their Urban garden’s administration director, Robyn Wynn stated that the young officials have done great efforts and boosted up our businesses to unimaginable heights. They do not only provide us with great experience but also helped in gaining feedback from the professionals.

It is really a great achievement for all those young minds who have determined to start up their projects. It inspired them and encouraged their product that will make a great difference. It is a very innovating experience for all those students. They have started successfully in the field of business and are encouraged to do more amazing things.
With the success at regional finals, now their urban garden will attend young enterprise national finals in Liverpool within the month and if succeeded will got the chance to European finals.
North east area manager at young enterprise, Kerry Tipple, said, the startup program grows year-on year, as we see north east students keen to network and be mentored by key employers.
“Undergraduates have proven to be a source of inspiration that the chance to initiate their own startup builds up their employability skills and improve their future jib aspects.
