Chargifi is partnering with brands to grow its wireless charging network
London-based wireless charging company Chargifi is looking to partner with brands as part of its new initiative to bring charging spots to high-footfall spaces such as airports, restaurants and cafes.
The startup is looking to leverage its wireless charging technology with the potential for marketers to snag a captive, engaged audience to fuel the expansion of its charging spot network.
Its ‘intelligent marketing solution’ for brands will see Chargifi partnering with companies to develop its charging infrastructure, branding up charging keys and surfaces and opening up the possibility for hyperlocal messaging through the brand’s app.
For the battery-challenged, the new scheme should help to tackle the growing out-of-home power problem fuelled by ever powerful devices, while brands will be able to glean further data and intelligence from their customers.
Chargifi Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Dan Bladen commented: “People rely on their devices for everything today, from organising their social life to managing their working day.
“Providing convenient power to customers means brands have the opportunity to engage in hyper local marketing while also gathering intelligence on customer habits.”
Founded back in 2013 by Bladen and Charlie Cannell, the tech firm has developed a wireless charging solution which can be installed in heavily populated and communal areas.
Its commercial partnerships have seen it grow its global charging infrastructure to markets including Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, India and Russia.
