DevOps Popularity Fuels Puppet’s Growth
IT automation provider Puppet has released its latest momentum figures and triumphantly hailed the past 12 months as its ‘best-ever year’.
The Portland-based software provider, which added more than 250 new enterprise customers in the past year, highlighted the increasing demand of DevOps in the enterprise as a key factor for its success. Sanjay Mirchandani, president and CEO, explained:
“Puppet’s momentum underscores the continued demand that we are experiencing from customers and organisations that need to improve agility, efficiency and reliability to support them through their DevOps and digital transformation journeys.
“Our success is a testament to the hard work of our talented team, customers, partners and community, which have all contributed to our growth globally. We look forward to continuing to provide products that will significantly help our customers accelerate modern software deployment while making it easier for them to manage their infrastructures. We have our sights set high on an even stronger 2017.”
The announcement coincided with two new product updates with Lumogon and Puppet Cloud Discovery further strengthening its product range and providing organisations with increased visibility into data and automation.
