Swiss watchmaker Breitling to open new Trafford Centre store
Swiss watchmaker Breitling is launching at intu Trafford Centre.
The company’s new 1,000 sq ft store will present a glazed façade and interiors featuring a combination of American walnut and quadrillo wood panelling, with a 4.5m-high vaulted ceiling lowering towards a customer service and sales lounge at the rear.
In keeping with Breitling’s aeronautical ties, the store will be decorated with an aviation theme and pop art by artist Kevin Kelly.
The site will be managed by UK-based luxury watch retailer Aurum Holdings and open seven days a week.
To mark the opening, Breitling is hosting a celebration at store on the evening of May 24.
From 6pm to 8pm, members of the brand’s civil aerobatics Jet Team will join company ambassadors Nigel Lamb, The Turner Twins and The Breitling Wingwalkers for an exclusive launch.
Visitors to the Trafford Centre will also have until May 28 to try out the Breitling Jet Simulator in the shopping complex’s Orient Way and see the L-39 C Albatross aircraft, flown by the Breitling Jet Team, in the centre’s Great Hall.
