Phase one of Meadowhall Business Park fully let following trio of new deals

The first phase of the refurbished Meadowhall Business Park is now fully let.

Eaton Commercial Property Consultants Ltd, Galaxy Insulation and Dry Lining (Holdings) Limited and North Midlands Construction Plc are now tenants of the 12,000 sq ft block 3 building.

These companies have joined construction company NG Bailey, surveyors Auburn Ainsley, photography and makeover studio Chique Photography at the building.

Further phases of ARBA Group’s 70,000 sq ft business park, which comprises five former council-owned buildings, are also undergoing refurbishment.

Much of the space is already under offer via joint appointed agents Knight Frank and Campbell & Co.

North Midlands Construction Plc has taken space on the ground floor of Block 3, whilst Galaxy Insulation is located at the first floor and Eaton Commercial also takes space on the ground floor.

Mark Lowson at North Midlands Construction Plc, said: “The space on offer at Meadowhall Business Park meets our requirements perfectly. The space is well specified and the location couldn’t be any more convenient for us.”

Meadowhall Business Park is located less than one mile from junction 34 of the M1, two miles west of Junction 33 of the M1 and within six and twenty-five miles of the M1/M18 intersection and the M1/M62 intersection respectively.

Richard Burns, director at ARBA Group, commented: “The completion of Block 3, which is fully tenanted is a great milestone for us and the unparalleled levels of interest we are seeing in the rest of the site bodes very well for us with some more lettings announcements likely to be made in the very near future.

“The remainder of the site is still undergoing refurbishment and we have exterior cladding to install on all five buildings, and we are marketing space from 2,000 sq ft to up to 15,000 sq ft and at present we have 60% of the site let and can report strong interest in the remaining space.

“Meadowhall’s development as its own commercial district is evolving rapidly and in line with the establishment of a new IKEA superstore and an extension to the shopping centre, demand for good office space with such a strategic location is only likely to increase.”

Craig Reed of Galaxy Insulation, added: “We were looking for a base that could allow for excellent motorway connections but still keeping relatively close to the city and other amenities. The value for money of the new offices and their location made the decision very easy for us.”
