Wizz Air launches flights to Lublin from Liverpool John Lennon Airport
Wizz Air has launched its inaugural flight from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) to the South Eastern Polish city of Lublin.
This is Wizz Air’s seventh destination from Liverpool, following the recent launch of its service to Craiova in Romania.
The airline also operates flights to Warsaw, Gdansk, Budapest, Riga and Katowice.
Flights to Lublin will operate twice weekly, Wednesday and Saturday on a 180 seater A320.
With the commencement of the Lublin flight, Wizz Air will operate up to 21 departing flights per week from Liverpool during Summer 2017.
Paul Winfield, Liverpool John Lennon Airport’s aviation director, said: “We are delighted to welcome new service to Lublin with Wizz Air from Liverpool Airport. Lublin will become the 7th destination operated by Wizz Air from Liverpool and offers passengers to explore a new market from the North West of England.
“Liverpool Airport offers passengers from the North West and beyond a seamless experience, with faster security times, parking to gate in ten minutes and one of the best airline punctuality records in Europe”.
