Aberfield welcomes a familiar face to its expanding team
Leeds-based PR agency Aberfield Communications has appointed Michaella Biscomb, one of its previous student interns, to its growing team.
A recent Leeds Beckett graduate, Michaella previously worked at Welcome to Yorkshire, supporting regional tourism as well as major events including the Tour de Yorkshire and White Rose Awards, in addition to interning at Leeds Bradford Airport.
Michaella said: “I am delighted to be re-joining the team here at Aberfield. I had a great experience with the agency as a student back in 2015 and it’s a dream to be returning as a graduate with the knowledge and experience to apply to exciting clients, including QHotels and First Direct.”
Phil Reed, managing director, said: “It’s great to have Michaella back with us. Since she was last here she’s had some great experience with two big names in the region and completed her degree, so it’s nice she’s now here full time.”
Aberfield, which recently celebrated its fifth birthday, is the current CIPR Consultancy of the Year and Small Consultancy of the Year for Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. The appointment follows several new client wins for Aberfield, including NHS and private healthcare provider LivingCare.
