Planners give the green light to 100 new homes in Whitchurch
A development of 100 much-needed new homes in Whitchurch has been given the go-ahead by planners.
The move by Bath & North East Somerset Council means the beginning of a new community, and the creation of employment for local workers. Barratt Homes is scheduled to start this summer and the first homes are due for launch at the end of the year.
“This is great for people wishing to settle in this sought-after area,” Barratt sales director Andrea Pilgrim. “As a five star housebuilder we think very carefully before deciding where to build new properties and we know demand here is very high. We’re thrilled to be playing our part in bringing new homes to people in Whitchurch.
“The layout of this development has been created with a whole host of lifestyles in mind - from sole occupants to couples and growing families. This is very important to us. We know there is a need for new and accessible housing in this region, and our home designers have done us proud here.”
White Church Court will feature 100, two, three and four bedroom homes and the location will provide easy access for buyers into Bristol city centre and Bath.
“We’re expecting interest to be high thanks to the high quality of the homes and the fantastic location,” said Andrea.
