Knight Frank to launch duo of South Yorkshire business parks to market

Dunedin Industrial, one of the largest owners of industrial and office property in the UK, has appointed Knight Frank to market two South Yorkshire business parks.

The Sheffield office of Knight Frank will now let 45,000 sq ft of space across six units located in Rotherham and the Dearne Valley.

Stadium Court Trade Park near Rotherham and Houndhill Park at Wath-upon-Dearne provides trade counter/light industrial accommodation, both of which are in short supply across South Yorkshire.

Tom Swallow, senior surveyor at Knight Frank, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed by Dunedin Industrial to market two key industrial sites in South Yorkshire, which form part of the company’s Midlands portfolio.

“Stadium Court forms part of the Barbot Hall Industrial Estate, accessed directly off the Mangham Road to the north of Rotherham and comprises 17 modern trade counter units arranged in 6 terraces with good links to the nearby M1 motorway.

“The buildings offer accommodation available from 3,980 sq ft with the ability to provide up to 8,000 sq ft in one building.

“Houndhill Park is accessible to both Leeds and Sheffield and comprises of high quality industrial units with generous eaves heights of 8.0m eaves, separate parking and loading facilities and fitted office accommodation.

“The two parks are proving very popular and space of this quality is in relatively short supply across the region due to demand outstripping supply and development and we have had strong interest with the units to date.”

Dunedin Industrial’s portfolio is located in 130 towns and cities across the UK and the company has more than 170 estates offering in excess of 10 million sq ft of space.

Chris Salmon, asset manager at Dunedin Industrial, added: “The appointment of Knight Frank is intended to market the South Yorkshire business parks to the broadest possible audience.

“These two sites are strategically important to us as South Yorkshire is demonstrating strong demand for light industrial and commercial accommodation on this scale and we always intended to partner with a national agency to market the space.”
