Saltaire energy firm crowned 'Supplier of the Year' in national awards

Saltaire-based Switch2 Energy has won the Housing Excellence ‘Supplier of the Year’ Award for its lifetime achievements in community and district heating.

The judging panel of housing specialists were impressed by Switch2’s customer service and commitment to tackling fuel poverty and meeting the needs of vulnerable residents.

Awards judge Mary-Kathryn Rallings Adams, said: “We were really impressed with Switch2’s focus on fuel poverty and by the excellent evidence provided from a number of clients on how they are delivering both efficient and reliable services. Their focus on customer service is particularly impressive.”

Kirsty Lambert, Director of Switch2 said: “We’re enormously proud to be recognised as ‘Supplier of the Year’ to the housing sector. We believe in putting the customer at the heart of our work and meeting their needs through excellent customer service and relationship management. Our aim is to deliver lower carbon, more affordable heat for all. Thank you to Housing Excellence for this prestigious accolade.”

This innovation complements Switch2’s smart metering technologies.
