Regal Rentals creates six jobs with first Greater Manchester branch
Vehicle rental firm Regal Rentals has created employment opportunities with its first foray into Greater Manchester.
The new branch, located on Birdhall Lane in Cheadle, saw the Chester-headquartered company take on six new staff to bring its total workforce to 115.
The company has also appointed a new commercial manager. Tony Burns previously worked as a business development manager for Inchcape Wirral Volkswagen.
Jamie Frost, the firm’s managing director, said: “This is our first branch in Greater Manchester and forms a key part of our continuing expansion across the North of England.
“During the next five years we have plans to increase revenues by more than 30% employee numbers likely to rise to around 150.”
Regal Rentals was founded 19 years ago by Jamie alongside two fellow directors, and today operates 12 sites stretching from Stoke-on-Trent to Carlisle with a fleet of over 1,250 vehicles.
Jamie, who became sole shareholder in 2016 following the retirement of his two partners, continued: “We are looking forward to celebrating our 20th anniversary later this year, an achievement that has been made possible thanks to the knowledge and dedication of everyone in the Regal Rentals team.
“We pride ourselves on providing customers with the best possible customer service and engagement which, in turn, has allowed us to achieve industry-leading levels of client retention.”
