SALT.agency teams up with Agenci in cyber security partnership
Leeds SEO consultancy SALT.agency is working cyber security company Agenci LTD in a partnership that will assist companies across the UK achieve the important international standard for information security, ISO27001:2013.
From May 25 2018 a General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) law shall apply across Europe and companies in the UK must adhere to its eight principles; designed to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union.
This means that companies, irrelevant of size or sector, must now employ security standards and certificates for when the law falls into place. A failure to do so could result in a fine of up to 5% turnover for any company, or 20 million Euro — whichever is higher.
Both SALT.agency and Agenci will work with companies throughout the country to help them achieve the trusted ISO 207001:2013 certification.
