Pace Marketing Director Finalist at Yorkshire Women in Business Awards

Shirin Kemp, marketing director of Hull’s creative communications agency, Pace Communications, has been shortlisted for the Rising Star category at this year’s Barclays Celebrating Women in Business Awards.

Since joining Pace in 2016, Shirin has helped to accelerate the growth in the client base and build the internal team. Her strategy ensures the team members are developing their skillset at a rapid rate and that the agency remains on track in its second year with its ambitious growth plans.

Commenting on being shortlisted, Shirin said: “I was humbled and thrilled to be nominated, let alone shortlisted.

I believe promoting entrepreneurial decision making and strategic thinking throughout our team is an essential ingredient for success. I’m lucky to be working in an industry I love and I’m even luckier to be working with a bunch of people that inspire me every day.

I’m really looking forward to the awards in June and celebrating with other women in business who are making a real difference to their organisations“.

The awards, which recognise women who have made an outstanding contribution to business, take place on 23rd June at the prestigious Bowcliffe Hall in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

Other awards up for grabs include, Woman of the Year and Most Supportive Business Promoting Diversity & Citizenship.
