Double contract win for property specialist

Oxfordshire based DW Support Services (DWSS) has secured a double contract win with two major UK housing providers.

The deals are with Southern Housing Group and A2 Dominion - which between them manage 63,000 homes across the south of the UK.

The news comes just three months after the Fastflow Group – of which DWSS is part – secured significant financial backing from Elysian Capital II LP, in London, to support its growth plans.

The largest of the new contracts is with Southern Housing Group and involves responsive repair, void refurbishment and planned maintenance contracts covering 28,000 houses in London, Hampshire, Kent and Sussex. The agreement is for an initial five year period, with an option to extend for a further five.

The A2Dominion deal covers planned refurbishment and cyclical redecoration works for its 35,000 housing. DWSS was appointed to seven of the eight frameworks available, which will run for the next four years.

Said DWSS Managing Director, Colin McMahon: “We are delighted to have extended our scope of works with two of our most valued customers and look forward to providing high levels of service, while offering the best possible value to our clients.

“We are also looking forward to upgrading the homes of thousands of people, as well as delivering social benefits, to bring long term improvement to communities. In addition, we look forward to welcoming new employees to our growing team.”

DWSS, which recently moved into a new headquarters in Thame, also has offices in Oxford, Reading, London and the Isle of Wight. It currently looks after approximately 200,000 homes, undertaking planned building repairs, maintenance and improvement across all property sectors throughout the South East of England.

A call centre team provides responsive day-to-day support for clients, delivering approximately 40,000 repairs a year, while planned maintenance, refurbishment and energy saving solutions are also provided to a number of clients.

The company is a member of the Fastflow Group – a £75 million turnover operation which specialises in property maintenance and management and utility infrastructure and provides work for over 600 people.
