Duncan Lewis to embark on rapid UK expansion following finance package

London-headquartered solicitors Duncan Lewis is planning an expansion drive across the UK after securing a multi-million pound finance package from Clydesdale Bank.

The law firm, which has offices right across London as well as a network of UK branches, has agreed an £8.47m finance deal with the bank to fund the upgrade of its IT infrastructure and communications platform to further support its rapid UK expansion. The funds may also be directed towards any acquisition or merger opportunities that might arise.

As the UK’s largest civil legal aid provider, Duncan Lewis specialises in cases relating to crime, family and matrimonial law, immigration and social housing, and has a presence in most major UK cities including Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester and elsewhere.

Founded in 1998, the firm now has over 800 members of staff and services over 20,000 clients a year from across its UK branches.
