Bold move pays off for RTC North

A move to much larger premises in Sunderland combined with a modern, flexible workplace created by Ben Johnson Interiors, has resulted in growth and new opportunities for business consultancy and training company RTC North.

RTC can now offer a smart, 21st century, business hub, with space for co-habiting businesses along with a flexible training and events space, different-sized guest offices, breakout spaces and a highly versatile work space for all.

With contracts across the North of England, its new North-East headquarters provides a high-quality venue from which it can deliver new training contracts, hosting open courses in ‘Leadership & Management’, ‘Innovation’, ‘Lean Manufacturing’ and ‘Bootcamps’ for new businesses.

As well as its growing training offering, RTC also delivers contracts to help small companies with innovation, technology commercialisation and business growth and the new premises allows in-house experts to run events, deliver workshops and host networking events on-site.

It was only a year ago when RTC North made the move to double the size of its workspace by establishing its new headquarters in Loftus House in Colima Avenue, Sunderland Enterprise Park. The company wished to establish its new, high-profile home as an industry hub for related businesses to collaborate, network and benefit from each other’s long-term proximity, as well as create an inspiring place where people could meet up, exchange ideas and participate in training. And that’s exactly what has happened!

Loftus House is also home to organisations including The North East Process Industry Cluster, the North East Automotive Alliance, Northern Housing Consortium, Service Network and Design Network North.

RTC North Director, Jamie Ollivere, says: “Our staff love their new offices and have totally embraced the changes. The flexible, open-plan work space has had a beneficial effect in many ways because the layout means our teams are interacting more and as a result, clients are getting a better service.
