Cannock driver celebrates free parking prize
One lucky shopper is rejoicing after winning free parking in Cannock for six months.
Suzi Wood, 24, from Huntingdon in Cannock scooped the prize in an online competition organised by High Green Court.
The centre, on Newhall Street offers a wide variety of high street and specialist shops, offices and bars and restaurants, along with secure parking for up to 80 cars.
Suzi said: “I’m thrilled to have won the competition as I use the centre a lot, particularly for coffee dates and celebrations at Caffe del Nino.
“It’s such a brilliant resource to have on my doorstep. I know I can pop in there for practically anything and won’t have to lug big heavy bags around, with everything located together and within easy walking distance of the car park.
“Winning the competition means that I won’t have worry about finding change for every visit.
“I believe that along with High Green Court, the hidden gems of Cannock are the library and Caffe del Nino, because you can grab a book and spend a relaxed hour drinking coffee, eating cake and having a good read.
“I use it on a fairly regular basis because it has such a great atmosphere and it’s great to know I’m actively supporting local businesses.”
Neil Edginton of High Green Court, said: “We are pleased to hear that Suzi is a firm fan of the centre and is enjoying her free use of our secure 24/7 car park.
“There’s so much to come and enjoy here throughout the day and evening, with a mixture of high street and specialist shops, offices, bars and restaurants.
“Even if you weren’t lucky enough to win the competition, you can still enjoy our parking facilities for £1 per hour or £6 for a full day.”
